No one wants to be on the receiving end of a regulatory enforcement or disciplinary action by a State or a local government agency, but it happens. And when it does, having a firm that is knowledgeable not only of the law, but the individuals making the decisions for the agency, is critical. Through our lobbying work we learn the nuances of law governing particular agencies and get to know the decision makers within those agencies, both of which are very useful when considering your options on how to respond in an administrative law proceeding. We have practiced in front of 17 of the State’s 25 Liquor Boards, before the Board of Physicians, the Department of the Environment, the Insurance Administration and other agencies, representing clients before the agency and on appeals through the State courts, all the way up to the Court of Appeals.
