Andrew “Drew” Vetter, Esq.

SENIOR ATTORNEY

Andrew “Drew” Vetter is a Maryland attorney and lobbyist. He joined the firm in September 2022. Drew will assist with representing the Firm’s clients before the Maryland General Assembly, State agencies, and local governments.

Prior to joining the firm, Drew served as Deputy Administrative Officer in the Office of Baltimore County Executive John A. Olszewski, Jr. In that role, Drew was responsible for oversight of a portfolio of County Departments, including in the areas of public safety and policing, economic development, and land use. Drew was the County Administration’s lead on labor negotiations and labor relations issues. He was appointed to that role in December 2018.

Before his work in Baltimore County, Drew served in several other roles in Maryland local and state government. Drew worked for Baltimore City government from 2015 to 2018, serving as Director of the Mayor’s Office of Criminal Justice, as well as Chief of Staff and Director of Government Affairs at the Baltimore Police Department.

Before Baltimore City, Drew was a Deputy Legislative Officer in the Office of former Governor Martin O’Malley. Drew held numerous other roles in state and local government earlier in his career and was in private practice for a period following graduation from law school. Drew’s first job upon graduation from college was as a CitiStat Analyst for then-Mayor O’Malley’s innovative and award-winning CitiStat program.

Drew is licensed to practice in the State of Maryland and earned his J.D. from the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law in 2011. He graduated cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa from the University of Maryland, College Park in 2005 with a B.A. in Government and Politics. Drew is a lifelong Baltimore City resident and resides there with his wife and two children, ages 6 and 1.
